Supported files and limits

  • Margins apply to the page as it is shown, so they are right on rotated and landscape pages.
  • The page size changes for viewing and printing. The content is not re-rendered, so quality stays the same.
  • Choose the pages to crop, for example 2- to leave a cover page as it is.
  • Up to 2,000 pages and 100 MB. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.

Common questions

Is the cut-off part deleted?
No. Cropping hides it, which is how PDF cropping works everywhere. PDF editing software can show it again, so do not crop to remove confidential information.
How do I find the right margins?
Measure the margin you want to remove on a printed page, or start with 10 mm on each side and adjust. The result lists each page's size before and after.
Can I change the paper size, for example to A4?
Cropping only makes pages smaller by cutting edges off. To fit the content onto a different paper size, use Make PDF Pages Same Size, which scales each page instead.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It is cropped in your browser and never sent to our server or anyone else.
