Supported files and limits

  • This is a viewer, not an XRechnung, Peppol or tax-compliance validator.
  • UBL 2.1 Invoice and CreditNote documents up to 10 MB and 5,000 lines are supported. CII and PDF invoices with embedded XML (Factur-X, ZUGFeRD) are not.
  • The original XML remains the authoritative invoice. A printed view does not replace it.
  • Bank details and payment references are shown as supplied, not verified.

Common questions

Why did I receive an invoice as an XML file?
E-invoicing networks such as Peppol, and public-sector e-invoicing rules across the EU, exchange invoices as structured UBL XML so accounting software can read them automatically. This viewer makes the same file readable for a person.
Is my invoice uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read and displayed by your browser. It is never sent to our server or anyone else, and the tool keeps working with your internet connection switched off.
Is this an invoice compliance validator?
No. It displays the values stated in the document without legal, tax or network validation.
Does it support every XRechnung file?
XRechnung files in UBL 2.1 syntax open normally. XRechnung files in CII syntax are not supported yet.
