How to use the Add Watermark to Image

  2. Enter the text and choose the position, size, opacity and colour.
  3. Select Add watermark and download the image, or a ZIP for several.

Supported files and limits

  • The text size is a share of the image, so portrait and landscape photos get the same look.
  • A soft shadow keeps the text readable on light and dark parts of the photo.
  • Images keep their format and size. Hidden metadata such as the location is not copied.
  • Up to 50 images and 50 MB each.

Common questions

Which position is best?
A corner keeps the photo clean for portfolios and social media. A repeated watermark is hardest to remove, which suits previews of photos you sell.
Can a watermark be removed?
A corner watermark can be cropped off, and editing software can retouch others. A repeated, semi-transparent watermark is the most difficult to remove.
Will the image quality change?
The image keeps its size. JPG and WebP files are saved again at high quality; PNG stays lossless.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The watermark is added in your browser and the photos are never sent to our server or anyone else.
